Anne-Louise Dadak (AL) is a curator and creative producer with over 15 years’ experience in the arts sector, living and working on Wangal and Dharug lands. She is currently Curator at Blacktown Arts.
Anne-Louise has worked across a range of arts institutions and is the co-founder of Province Studio and the artist-run initiative The Paper Mill. She has designed and produced projects for organisations including the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney Living Museums, Sydney Festival, Blacktown Arts Centre, Bankstown Arts Centre, PYT Fairfield, City of Sydney Council, Marrickville Council, Tangentyere Arts and the Museum of Contemporary Art. She holds a Bachelor of Design from UNSW and a Master of Museum and Heritage Studies from the University of Sydney.
Passionate about increasing opportunities and visibility for underrepresented communities, artists and organisations, her creative and research interests include socially engaged art and design, public art and placemaking, sites of memory, accessible collections, and multidisciplinary approaches to museum and gallery practice.
